Luke went to his first Mardi Gras parade this weekend. It was a night parade and a little cold, but he loved it and did so well. The part I was most nervous about was the marching bands, being quite loud and very close--but he adored them! His face just lit up and he kept asking for "more bands! more music!" Of course the fire truck at the end and the police cars, motorcycles and horses were a big hit as well. We caught a lot of good things and Luke loved waving to all the revelers on the floats.
