playing in evie's toys...
Luke and I spent part of the week at our friends' house in Auburn, AL, with their 3 year-old girl and 7 year-old boy. One morning, Luke was playing with Evie's toys in her room and he came out pushing her doll stroller. He loved crashing it into walls and tipping it over and making the dolls fall out. When I ask him, "how do you hold the baby?", the picture on the left demonstrates his caring technique of picking the doll up by the face. Nice.
Other than that, Luke adored playing with the big kids and the big kids liked trying to boss Luke around. The big hit of the visit though was Luke letting their 75-lb lab drench him in kisses. At one point, dog slobber was literally dripping off of Luke's chin and ears. Gross, but he loved it. Also we discovered his love of salmon and oatmeal--who knew? The only down side, Luke now fully understands and can use the word "no", thanks to the 7 and 3 year-olds. Ha ha!

happy valentine's day!!
For Valentine's Day, Luke and I made chocolate-covered pretezels for Sam (one of his favorites.) He had had plain pretezels but seemed to be intrigued the sweet coating on these pretezels.
But as you can see above, when I tried to take them away, Luke knew he wanted more!!!
Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!!!!
